DESCRIPTION:
Oregano is a member of the mint family. Oregano oil is produced from the oregano plant through the process of steam distillation.
CONSTITUENTS:
p-cymene, linalool, Carvacrol, thymol, caryophyllene oxide, a-pinene, myrcene, gamma-terpinene.
USES:
The leaves are dark green and oval in shape, and it has a profusion of pink flowers clustered at the top of the branches. Its powerful anti-microbial properties are said to assist in the prevention of infections and to treat skin fungi such as athlete’s foot.
